Which of the above is high in energy??

Foods that are considered simple carbohydrates are treated similarly in the body to sugar. While they give quick energy, they also cause a crash and burn reaction - as soon as the quick energy has gone, there is a sudden crash causing exhaustion and craving for more of same. The answer is to eat protein, fat and if any carbohydrates, make sure they are complex, such as whole wheat, vegetables, fruits, etc. This provides a more stable supply of blood sugar without the spikes and falls.
